Has anyone else played Desktop Tower Defense?

I tried a few months back and didn't understand what was going on. But tonight I ended up playing it for a few hours.

I ended up with this diagonal, branchy design that kinda looks like a green-eyed dog licking its nose.

Oh man, that's way too amusing a procrastination tool.

I was actually planning on procrastinating with other things today, but I ended "just one more game"ing it all day.

Second design I came up with is kinda interesting.

Ignore the center Sq. Should have gone with another Sw instead.

I have spent a -little- bit of time playing DTD. I can usually finish the Hard Mode with 15-18 hearts left. I can't get those level 56 bosses and still finish with any lives.

That board is much more effective than anything I've made.

It took me a day to realize that the super sniper pellet towers would shoot whatever creeper you last clicked on.

I'll have to try out Fr and Da.

Da are best for grouped baddies before level 45-50ish.
Fr get a big range increase with their final upgrade.
The three Sq in the middle row were Sw before level 50.
Play any of the Fun/Challenge levels?

Not yet.

I got pretty focused on getting past level 50 of Hard.
