Surely I've told you about my coworker at the domestic violence shelter who typed all her crisis logs in comic sans?

When I was in undergrad, a girl I already didn't respect turned in a paper in comic sans.

Somehow, in the MFT program, whenever anyone does a PowerPoint on treatment with children, they put it in comic sans.

Damn. Well I'm not really that surprised.

But you definitely notice Papyrus a LOT more here in Santa Cruz than you would in most other places, i'm sure. "Ohhh, I like this one, it's new agey!!" Vomit.

Don't forget vineyards that pander to the Thomas-Kincaid-buying crowd. You know; complacent, liberal-in-name-only closet-republicans whose idea of culture is Cost Plus or a Kathy Foley gamelan performance...

They only like Merlot. Double vomit.

you just don't expect it would actually be in here, but then again, how could it not?
Of course there's all this stuff too:

One of the stage managers I worked with used comic sans on most of her fliers and it drove me nuts.

Other than that, she was great to work with, though.
