I created http://myspace.com/natehaas two years ago and never logged in again.

I decided going to give it a shot though, so click here to add me.

How do they have not have an email address book importer in 2007?
How and why did that site have to get popular?
It is fast food for the soul.

Fast food tastes good, at least initially. Myspace doesn't even have that.

I wonder if the emergence of myspace signals the second crest in a wave of online experience -- I haven't seen pages and layout that bad since the days of angelfire and tripod.com. Are we doomed to shit layout and design fads every decade or so? Or just everytime Macromedia releases a new edition of Flash?

Yeah, I don't know. You'll never know what'll be popular, but odds are it'll be fucking ugly.

I skimmed through this earlier today:

wow, That's a really interesting blog. Makes me wish I had the energy to go back and finish my web2.0 for education research paper.

I hate Myspace, too. I am on it, but I rarely log in. The things I hate the most are people's crappy pages loaded with tons of photos and music. It drives me nuts. I also hate bands that try to add you just to get more groupies! Pain in the ass. I only stayed on because there are people that I know on it who don't use LJ.

I've had my myspace for a over a year too. I think I briefly set it up, and then promptly gave up. I hate (!!) everything about the service. I totally agree - why did that site have to get popular?

I'll add you! :)
