So far as I can tell, half of those are potatoes, butter, and salt/pepper.

I couldn't find butter, so mine was just cheddar, sour cream and salt/pepper.

Try nonfat plain yogurt instead! Same effect, but healthy-healthy.

My mom's potatoe soup recipe. This is one of my all time fav recipes. It is rich but delicious.

Vichy soup

Ingrediants:

3 medium leeks
1 medium onion
2 TBspn butter
4 medium potatoes
salt and pepper to taste
4 cups chicken broth
1.5-2 cups cream (or half and half)

Prep:

mince onions and white part of leeks.
Sautee in butter.
Peel potatoes and slice very thin.
Add potatoes to leeks and onion in pot
Add chicken stock
cook until tender
put in blender and liquefy
wash blender
blend twice to make sure there are no chunks
(store at this point if need be)

add cream and heat - salt and pepper to taste
serve
