Update

Moving into the new apartment means moving everything up five flights of stairs in 109°F weather. Fun.

We've blanketed the neighborhood with flyers. But there is still no word on Comet.

Lucah was covered in fleas when we found him and tonight we found the flea treatment our catsitter promised she put on him. Emily was understandably devastated by that.

To answer the most frequently asked questions:
No, she's not retarded.
No, she's not a drug addict.
No, we don't know why.

My best guess is that she wasn't mature enough to handle the responsibility we entrusted her with or take responsibility for the consequence.

Thank you again to everyone for your support. We appreciate it more than you know.

The flakery of that girl is world class.

I was about to donate to your surgery fund, until you called it off. But I'll still gladly chip in if you decide to turn it into a legal fund after all.

I'm about to leave my cats for two weeks myself....:/

All money goes toward the cats.

Like lost cat posters and vet bills and yeah.

sorry to hear about your catsitter troubles. I know how hard it is to loose a pet, and it must be even worse when it only happened due to someone's incompetence.
On the brighter side, congrats on the marriage and Happy Birthday. Sounds like a lot of big changes in the last month. Hope all is well.
