Paypal me $5 (or more!) at nate@natehaas.com and get a I SAVED A KITTEN button.

Comet is still missing. We're putting up posters shortly.

p.s. Put the Comet posters up and dropped quarter-sheets in mailboxes.

Big thanks to laurel_journal, simrok, six2, foalstory and arkmay. Now at forty-six percent! You guys are so heart-warmingly awesome!

p.p.s. Ironically, 46% is about how much body weight Lucah lost these last few weeks. You can even see it in that picture around his concave pelvis. And petting him on the back is just vertebra. Sorry if that's too much information. Emily has been posting even oogier stuff.

Thanks Anh, but you don't need to do that.

It's understood.

One thing we should mention about the costs is that this estimate is only for this particular vet visit. I'm guessing the original emergency vet bill from Sunday morning, when we get it, will be between $400-$500.

Then there's the post-op visits and feeding tube removal (and God, how I hope we get to those).

In addition, there are the expenses for Comet as well, since we're running ads in the paper and printing lost cat posters.

I am so grateful for the outpouring of support we've received, for the emails of encouragement. At least for me, the emotional support has been priceless, and I really appreciate it, you guys.
