this picture looks very organic and starkly real, especially with the Lawrence, Kansas underneath it. does that make sense?

Yeah, that's probably because it was a study for an illustration, not a potrait in its right.

But I thought it turned out well as a potrait though (cause of the organic mona lisa, american gothic quality), so I photoshopped and posted it.

The bathroom (where this was shot) has four superbright light bulbs above the mirror.
