For me, the phrase "When you reach your peak, it's time to die!" is most associated with Alec Empire.

I think I like the sentiment because it gives me a defined purpose for what to do after I have reached my peak.

And if I want to live, I can tell myself, "I haven't yet peaked. I can see the peak over there. Near the horizon. Past the Denny's. The good Denny's. So I'm going to go ahead and chill out here for a little bit. Get psyched up for all the inevitable peaking. And I'll get there when I get there, assuming all goes well. Thanks for your concern, oh, judging conscience of mine."

Yeah, I respect crazy anarchisitc nihilism. Even if it's all peaked out.

Yeah, his bandmate Carl Crack took that a little too literally.

Well, look who's pulling out the ATR trivia.

As you never post about music, I just assumed that you didn't care about it.

(...checks out your interests...)

..and weird, herbaliser is a friend of a friend.
