As I have mentioned before, I am making a bibliography of geography and sound. Well, I have a friend who is working on a bibliography of geography and literature.

It took me awhile to realize that literature is largely sound recordings of stories (for example, the voice in your head that is reading this to you is quite possibly your version of my own voice). But then I realized I could be completely wrong.

My question is this: How do people born without any hearing read? Does their process differ from people with hearing loss, or people with good hearing?

Maybe I can look into this after finals using my newly-found research superpowers.
