And an hour later I was able to prove that...



Errands are much more fun!

That's Arcata including Valley West.

I used Google Earth, G7ToWin and Photoshop to make this.


I'm really looking forward to more of these posts.

It can do crazy stuff like tell you what angle of slope you are on.

There was a guy I knew in college stopped for speeding in the mountains north of LA. He had been hiking and had his GPS unit in the car, still recording. He debated fighting the ticket with that, since it was more accurate and comprehensive than the cop's radar gun, but I believe it still showed him over the speed limit, so he didn't pursue it.

I am very, very excited about doing the drive out to Kansas with this GPS.



I mean, it keeps track of rest times and average speed and I am just amazed it's under $120.
