I like my ipod shuffle.

Here's what I listened to over this last weekend on Em. and I's surprisingly difficult trip to and from Santa Barbara:

Air - Moon Safari & Talkie-Walkie
Art Tatum, Lionel Hampton & Buddy Rich
Autechre - Anti & Confield
Cepia - Dowry
Four Tet - Pause
Matmos - The Civil War
Philip Glass Ensemble - Glassworks, Violin Concerto, Akhnaten & Solo Piano
Neutral Milk Hotel - Everything Is
Pan American - Quiet City
Skip James
Wu-Tang Clan - Wu-Tang Forever

I keep wanting to say “I'm done with school!” but I'm looking forward to a career in academia. Somebody used the term 'curriculum development' with me in conversation. It gave me shivers. I spend a lot of my free time working on my lesson plans. I wonder where I'm going to end up in ten years.

Hey, so you like the iPod Shuffle? I was thinking about getting one since I can't afford a mp3 player and I'm going to be away from 5 or 6 weeks this summer. I'm just afraid it won't be enough music for that amount of time. What do you think?

Eh, something's better than nothing.

Get 2 or 3 of 'em.
