Today, I passed a dozen emergency vehicles and as many emergency workers. They were all crowded around a school bus full of children. The bus itself had run into and wound up on top off a little white celica-type car. There were puddles of white powder and dark liquid all over.
There was one empty stretcher on the ground. The kids looked spooked. And the adults looked freaked about the kids. There was one photographer feverishly taking pictures. He was soon approached by an officer.
I imagine another school bus was likely on its way to finish the route. But after leaving a scene like that, it kinda tends to stick with you.
I'm half-glad I don't take pictures of that stuff anymore.
