I used to hate Emigre.
And the number 6.
And the note D.
But I'm over all that now.
I am halfway through the second season of 24.
I never saw the first season.
I misread the box at the video store.
And just thought that the lack of story and character development was really cool.
But in truth, in medias res is one of my all time favorite things about epic storytelling.
It's more like of how we experience life.
Nothing, then plop! and we have to figure everything out on our own.
Or ask the people next to us, maybe, if you're not up to it.
And then relive our childhoods through our children and grandchildren?
Okay, I don't know about that part. But it sounds nice.
Frida was worth watching, if you're like I was and on the fence about it.
I'm in the middle of Titus and it's getting really good.
Rabbit Proof Fence was Gerry by and for kids.
Gangs of New York and Matchstick Men were both unspectacular.
The Cowboy Bebop Movie changed my life, but that's me. I like the film noir anime.
(You might think that there's an accent in ‘film noir’ cause it's smells like French, but I looked around and it seems there isn't.)
